I have extremely thick curly hair. And my hair sheds like crazy! I distinctly remember a time when our upstairs shower was not draining. Mom opened up the drain and basically pulled out an entire wig. I mean no exaggeration, we could have donated the thing to Locks of Love it was so much hair. Every brush, every shower, every bathroom floor I have ever used has tiny strands of dyed red curls all over the place. And the longer my hair has gotten in Uruguay, the more it tends to shed.

When my doctor told me I may start to notice my hair coming out this round of chemo, I didn’t think it was possible. I mean shedding has been a part of my life from the beginning.
