Since I was a very little girl, I was fascinated with Rio. I don’t know if it was the Christ the Redeemer looming over the city or the bright colors, bit little Kim has ALWAYS wanted to go to Rio. So big Kim, being only a 2.5 hour plane ride away, decided that Rio and the rest of Middle/Southern Brazil was going to be her first stop on her South American adventure while living in Uruguay.

NOTE: Each year we get six weeks in our summer (USA winter) and six weeks in our winter (USA summer). This was our first big break and I chose to do a 20 day self-guided tour through parts of Brazil. Here are my adventures.
