My pesky little white cells have decided to be uncooperative. After a shot of Neupogen  they were still in protest, so I got another shot today and it was simply too close to chemo for my doctor’s liking. Therefore, I have to have chemo on Friday instead.

I’m still taking tomorrow off from work to try and get my body back on track.  My mom’s eyes nearly popped out of her skull. I am not one to take days off…ever! But I already have the substitute and the plans are set. Plus, my kids are used to the schedule and I don’t want to mess up their little worlds or mine. And it is only one day off from my original schedule, so I am not too worried. I am more worried about the three days of Neupogen shots in a row after this chemo is finished. I can already feel my bones contracting like crazy!

Here is hoping that my cells decide to be nice and get back to where they need to be so that the rest of the chemos are easy.
